Stagville Descendants Council - President
- The
Stagville Descendants Council is an alliance, connecting descendents of those once enslaved and other ethnic
groups mistreated (Native American and Asian American Descendants) on the Bennehan Cameron Plantation. This alliance
is necessary because, although many descendents settled in Durham, North Carolina, there were also ancestors who lived on
plantation lands in Mississippi and Alabama, and there are now family members throughout the world.
